Stumble Home

Early one mornin' in the middle of the night
I was just gettin' loose alright
Crazy people dancin' and loud rock 'n' roll
there was a party goin' on, that's good for the soul.
A wild woman wondered would I like a wacky cigarette
well I wish I woulda just said, "Whoa."
I started floatin' on the ceilin', I was meltin' in the floor
I was flyin', I was dyin', I was fumblin', fumblin' for the door.
Then I went stumblin' home. Stumble home.

Me and my boys on a Friday night
we ride around in circles 'till we get it just right
We start out at Johnny's and we head downtown
check out every rock 'n' roll bar every party around.
We ride the magic bus with the stereo high
we leave this earth on a rocket ride
every place we stop we buy a couplea rounds
by five A.M. we are crumblin', crumblin' to the ground.
Then we go stumblin' home. Stumble home.

I will run around with you if you will run around with me
we'll leapfrog parkin' meters and crash into trees
we'll howl at the moon 'till we make it go away
we'll stay out all night and we will rumble, rumble 'till the break of day.
Then we'll go stumble home. We will stumble home.
