Whiskey & Cigarettes

Whiskey and cigarettes all by myself
I'm home alone, there's nobody else
I'm high as a kite and I've got no regrets
suckin' down whiskey and cigarettes.

Whiskey and cigarettes are my best friends
my doctor says they're the living end
someday I might quit, but I haven't yet
suckin' down whiskey and cigarettes.

We both said we'd stay 'til death did us part
we made a vow deep in our hearts
I've always embraced that loving ideal
but now you're yelling and screaming
and talking about keepin' it real.

Now I'm home alone there's nobody else
you packed all your things and you said farewell
I'm high as a kite and I've got no regrets
suckin' down whiskey and cigarettes.
